We are happy to receive applications from exchange students wishing to study at Hedmark University College, Campus Evenstad!

Semester programmes

• Ecology and Conservation mid-August – mid-December

Courses: Conservation biology (5 ECTS), Biogeography (5), Evolution (5), Population dynamics (5), Practice in wildlife research (10), Sustainable tourism (10)

• Nordic Forestry and Wildlife Management mid-February – mid-June

Courses: Nordic ecosystems (5), Wildlife management (5), Carnivore ecology and management (5), Forest ecology and silviculture (5), Forest engineering (5), Freshwater ecosystem ecology (5), Ecotourism (5)

• Practice in Applied Ecologyany time of the year

Research assistance in on-going research projects in applied ecology, often connected to wildlife ecology and management. Minimum 3 months.

Master's degree programme (2 years)

• Applied Ecology

Courses available for exchange students: Human impact in ecology and evolution (20, autumn term), Study design and statistical modelling (10, autumn term), Wildlife monitoring using radiotracking (3, spring), Capture-Mark-Recapture (3, spring), Distance sampling (2, spring), Multivariate analysis (2, spring).

We have no application deadline!! ECTS student application form and ECTS learning agreement are sufficient for application. They are available on our website.
